Welcome to the all new, better looking, proper 21st century fRoots web site.
Our old familiar one was built way back in the last century and over the years had lots of bits bolted on, but basically it was a meccano model still functioning rustily in the era of 3D printing! A million thanks to the wondrous Anna Smith who maintained it all these years. So over the past few months we’ve been transporting all the important features and resources from it over to this new home and given them fresh clothes. And we’ve added lots of content in the shape of some more recent great features from our pages. Now we’re ready to add plenty more as we go. Keep your eyes peeled for an imminent addition – the return of the Letters Page!
More importantly, it should now work properly across the whole range of modern devices from desktops to laptops, tablets and smartphones, in a much more user-friendly way.
Our thanks once again to all the people who pledged or contributed to our Save fRoots Kickstarter fundraiser at the end of 2017. We couldn’t have done this without you. And thanks to Jon Wilks who did the donkey work!
Of course, being a new thing, although we’ve done lots of testing it’s probably inevitable that you’ll find the odd glitch or broken link. If you do, we’d be grateful if you’d let us know via firstname.lastname@example.org and then we can make it better. Thanks!
So now you’ve got no excuse for not subscribing or buying the latest issue. It’s easy. As in peasy!
